Here is what my Nissan dealership emailed me....

"I heard back from the Nissan representative, unfortunately, he has denied the claim. He stated that he has not had any warranty claims or other known issues with this particular situation/issue and cannot deem it as a "defect"."

With this in mind, where do I go next... more interested in how people, if anyone, "fixed" this. I am worried about touch up paint, but with the clear bra on it, that may be my only option.

I can't believe this isn't covered as part of the 3 year/36,000 bumper to bumper coverage. Am I missing something here?

I called nissan customer service and they launched a case, I am supposed to hear back from them within 24 hours, let's see what they have to say... Meanwhile, the peeling seems to have gotten worse.

The official response from Nissan is that this is a chip in the paint, rock or something similar, no coverage, wear and tear related.

Where you able to get anything done with Nissan? After many fights they agreed to have their shop take a look at it and decide if they can get away with touch up paint or repaint it all. They agreed to redo the clear bra as well. I still need to decide if I want to go through this whole process, but at least Nissan is somewhat admitting there is a problem there.

Haha, neither do I trust me, if anything I baby this car too much. I highly doubt this has much to do with driving style, I think it may be a paint defect or somehow the bumper was not properly put on the car... either way, sucks for those that dumped 30k Plus on a brand new car.
