I used the AT shift knob from a M45 Infiniti and the OEM MT shift boot with some minor trimming. Much, much prettier IMO. Details and such here... GT-R shift knob on 7AT +pics I primarily use the paddles to shift, FWIW, but occasionally I use the gear stick and no issues with loosening the bezel for so doing. M45 knob locks on in OEM location using OEM clip -- no drilling needed -- and also sits a bit lower. Shift unlock button works perfectly and uses same clip to fasten to lever.
