Mismatched Contrast Stitching in Interior

The stitching of the interior for most 370z is a light grey color. I believe the Nismo edition and the 40th anniversary edition has red stitching.

My question is would it look odd if the stitching in the seats were different for the shift boot, cubby and knee pads would it look weird? I'm considering getting yellow stitching on my seats...

Why not just get a $2.00 dye pen and dye all the threads yourself? I dyed all the threads red in my interior.

I'm afraid the yellow stitching on my new seats won't match the yellow fabric pen...

Get white stitching on the seats, and then dye everything yellow? That way it'll match for sure.

It won't still. The stock stitching is a grayish color not white. Also I tested out a yellow fabric marker on my stock seats and the yellow came out kind of in the neon highlighter yellow tone which is not the look I'm going for.

Would it look odd having yellow stitching on my seats with grey stitching on the shift boot and cubby?

Any concerns with fade over time? I guess you could add more ink to it if that happens. Talking to myself now...:wtf2:

Not really concerned with possible fading... More concerned if the mismatch will look odd...
