When ordering Nismo body kits do you need to specify the kit styling year?
I have been looking at getting a Nismo body but am confused (and a noob!). It appears that there have been changes to the styling over the years but the kit vendors don't ask you to specify which year's stying you want. What am I missing.
Here is an example: 2009 Nismo article from Motortrend: 2009 Nissan 370Z Nismo S-tune Package Revealed on Model's New Japanese Site - Motor Trend WOT Z1 Nismo rear: NISMO 370Z Rear Fascia Not the same. Now, I know the rear sides in the Motortrend has addons but the 2009 doesn't have slots and the Z1 shown does. Skirts too seem to have changed. Here is the 2010: http://the-grayline.com/wp-content/u...SMO-370z-2.jpg Thanks.

No, you are comparing different kits.
There is the: -OEM Nismo (which you linked from Z1 and your last image) & -S-tune, which is a dealer add on kit, think of a lip kit for a coupe model To convert a coupe model to Nismo body pieces you do not need a year, they are all the same (minus my knowledge on the year 2013 front bumper change & if the brackets are different).

Ok, so I have a 40th and want the front and rear that Z1 shows...that will work then, right? ...Understanding that it is a take off and replace.
Thanks. Quote:

Technically yes, and with ordering from Z1 you should have all the bolts & brackets you need.
The rear is pretty easy to switch over (I have done it), but the front requires some different plastic pieces and everything. Though I think the Z1 package is fairly complete on everything you need.
