Default Side Skirt Scrape

Well, I came out from work around 10pm last night and was left with the joy of finding this. I don't know how someone was able to scrape the skirt like this, but they did. The full scrape is about a foot long. It's unnoticeable unless you look at it from a low angle, but it bothers the eff out of me...No body damage, just scratches and missing paint. I am on a tight budget so without replacing the skirt, how much would something like this cost to get fixed?

Have you tried getting an estimate from a body shop?

same thing happened to me a while back(well it wasnt as long)

just cover it up with some touch up paint, you wont be able to see a difference unless you get up close to it

Last time I needed some paint work from a body shop, they said I needed a new front bumper, installation, and paint. I want to avoid body shops because I know I don't need a new side skirt, just paint and I feel like all I will hear is "get a new skirt". Just wondering if anyone had any paint work experience on an issue like this and a rough cost of covering it. I already started touching it up and it looks much better, but ultimately I want the thing painted.

I'll check with some body shops tomorrow just for fun. Thanks for the input guys.

If you're mechanically inclined and have tools? You could remove the side skirt and have the a body shop paint it unless it's your daily?

At which point it would pose another problem But this approach would save you some money.

Thanks for the input everyone. I put touch up paint on it last night (yes it was dark, it bothered me that much). I woke up and approached the car ready to see the wound on my baby. I have to say, the touch up did marvels. I couldn't even see any difference unless I was maybe a foot away.
