Default HID dying on me

My stock HID on my passenger's side is slowly dying on me, showing a hint of pink instead of white/yellow.

Should I go back to Nissan and replace them with stock? Or should I buy the OEM bulbs myself and install it?

I have a set of OEM HID bubls for sale

OEM Hid Bulbs

Would have to ask for slightly more to ship to Canada, but not much more.

And replacing them yourself is the best bet. Fairly easy to do

Well worth it!

I ended up having my warrantied out but they fall under the short warranty so anyone with a 2010 or older is out of luck.

Now I see a lot of "OEM" bulbs for sale on ebay by power sellers for $40. Are those legit?

Why not buy from the reputable forum member? I would not risk an "EBAY OEM" bulb. Not over $10-20 savings or whatever.

I'm sure there are venders on here that have a replacement bulb. I say support the site and venders FTW...

True. But I was just looking at different temp bulbs since I will be changing the bulbs myself.

Thanks for the link! The DIY looks pretty straightforward.

By the way, I'm not exactly sure if it is the bulb or the ballast that is dying. The only indication is that the light is turning a bit pinkish. Sorry I'm a complete newb at these things. I would be grateful if someone can tell me what is wrong. Thanks.

not sure myself to be honest. Perhaps a vendor might be able to help.

Be careful of some of the cheaper replacement bulbs. People run into flickering issues or early failures. Some though have been working well.

Buy Daisuke's bulbs. That's cheap.
I'm personally not a big fan of the "other" color bulbs. Everytime I see some blue or purple coming at me, the first thought is "Autozone".

one of mine bulb died, money is a bit tight at the moment.
so i got these from Amazon. Amazon.com: One Pair (2) D2C D2R D2S 6000K Xenon HID Diamond-White Bulbs 35W: Automotive

i followed the DIY, nice hint of blue (just a slight lost of visablity like 5% from OEM)
Its not much of a lost but if your budget is tight... got them for less than $10 bucks for 2bulbs is worth it. I've had them on for about 1.5 months now.

Just takes a while to get them lol. Only problem i had.
