According to page BRC-79 of the 2009 FSM, pin 1 is furthest away from the indexing tab.

Gongrats on getting it working.

It may help to rotate the flip cover 180 degrees. Remove the nut that retains the cover assembly, rotate the cover assembly (you may have to file off an indexing tab on the plate), replace nut.

Do you get any alarms on the dash when the yaw sensor is turned off?

I understood well enough. Not sure what an "esp" icon is but all I wanted to know is if _something_ came on to let one know that the yaw sensor had been turned off. Thanks for the feedback.

PS: turning the cover may not do anything. Depends on the design of the cover. Most covers I've worked with didn't actuate the switch, just something to keep you from bumping the switch. I have seen a few that would force the switch handle to a certain position and I'm guessing that is what you have.

esp = vdc... and yes that is the type of switch that i have (when i push the cover down it forces the handle in certain position) so you are saying that rotating the switch will do the work?

I don't know that it will fix the problem but it's worth a try - it has worked before.

Rotate just the shield. Loosen/remove the nut that holds the shield assembly on the threaded shaft that the operator (handle you move to turn on/off) goes into, turn the shield assembly 180 degrees, tighten/replace nut.

If there is a third terminal on the switch, it is probably for the LED. If not, I'm not sure.

A wiring diagram would be a big help but you should be able to figure it out with a VOM or diode checker.

Quick question. With the yaw sensor off do you still have to hit the button to turn off traction control is or does that stop working along with the yaw sensor? Can we basically ignore that button from now on?

Default HELP - fuse?

I was doing this mod and installing an LED rocker switch, when i accidentally touched a wire to the hand brake bolt. I got a nice spark and now I'm having all sorts of issues:

- ABS light on
- VDC light on (even with cut wire reconnected)
- key fob light on
- tpms light on

The car will start fine, but the push button isn't responsive in trying to turn the car off.

Did I fry a bunch of electronics or is there a blown fuse that I'm missing??
