You don't need a spring in there. In the time it took you took you to type that post, you would be halfway done getting the spring out.

I bought mine on ebay...$12.00

I am confused, changing the spring makes the engagement point lower, but removing it all together only changes the feel?
|
no from what ive learned the spring thing doesnt effect the clutch point at all the spring just makes it so that it doesnt spring back up as hard and allows you to feel your clutch point better. if you take it out it leaves a little bit of space due to the spring not being there and the clutch is empty for about 1/2inch ish? and adding the spring with less springyness only fills in that gap

From my understanding, changing the spring or removing it completely only affects feel. Take a look at how the spring is attached to the pedal. I don't see how it has any effect on the engagement. I thought that was a separate DIY.

I tried to find the DIY for adjusting the engagement point, but searching from a phone sucks. The spring is just to make the pedal softer and more numb for the people who probably shouldn't have bought the manual in the first place.

Really? Which part of it? The entire reason Nissan put a spring in the assembly was to take out any vibration or shaking of the pedal, and make it easier to push. If either of those is an issue for a potential buyer, I'd question why they wanted the manual in the first place.
