plastiDIPpitty doo dahh....ya i did
2 Attachment(s)
So I decided to do everything in plastidip and it turned out pretty nice... fangs...door handles...wheels...xm antenna...rear diffuser area thing...wing... even the tail lights. Share thoughts and opinions?

Interested in how you taped off the rear valence when you sprayed it.

I think you got out of hand. Too much plastic dip is not a good thing. Plastic dip and the big bag of Lays potato chips both have a thing in common. I bet you just can’t have one.

I think it looks pretty good, at least from the pics. I always liked the black/yellow combo. I'd like to know how well the tail lights hold up.

I think you should leave the wing yellow, and if you like the tint, just paint it with some VHT night shade.. But other than that, it looks pretty good. I love how the Z looks in yellow. :tiphat:

This is how I did mine. Should have tapped more off in hindsight but it worked well.

That low in that area u can't really see I don't mind using a blade. Turndled out fine. U can't get those kinda lines in the curve with tape. I'd rather cut

Wow, didn't know you could do the tailights. Looks pretty good from what I could see
I still have a can I never used. Might use it on the corner of my Carbon fiber side blade to help prevent rock chips And do the grill on my Subaru. |
