I had sparco mounts + seats on my previous car and can confirm that yes, they do sit higher than stock. I'm sure it would be the same for the Z as well.
|
Is it possible to have bride mounts + sparco evo seat installed on them?
|
Sit higher than stock as in higher than the stock driver seat in the highest position, or lowest position? The stock seat is height adjustable right? :S I'm a bit worried about this lol, just ordered a set of Sparco Fighters and sparco sliders/rails, don't like sitting too high up

Ive decided to go with Sparco pro2000 seat...so now i have few question to ask you guys.
1. Is this seat going to fit my 370z? is there anyone here that have fitted this seat in the z? 2.What base should i buy...sparco, bride, wedge engineering? 3. Should i buy side mounts or the seat can be fitted without them... thanks in advance :) |
23 inches wide at door height is the limiting factor for fitting seats in the Z. If the "wings" are positioned at window height and forward of the B pillar there is more room but that will depend on both the seat design and your seating/driving position.
I like my wedge engineering bases. I did not like how long wedge took to get them to me. The pro2000 can be bottom mounted but doing that makes positioning, including lean angle, almost entirely based on the base. If you buy a premade base then buy side mounts that give you positioning flexibility. |
as i can see on their website it says 23.4 inch or 59.4 cm wide, so i guess that shouldnt be problem....
i am planning to go with bride base rail and side mounts.... hope everything is gonna be ok :) |
