West Covina Nissan in California might have an even better price on it though if you want to google them, and, if you don't mind having it shipped to you. I tried to buy from them at first but we ran into a shipping problem. You'll also need to buy the front bumper diffuser, and that could run to close to $500.00

Thanks for the follow up. I'm guessing the diffuser is the plastic undertray? Also, how was the install, was it as simple as just bolting it on?

Looks very good btw.....

Thanks!

The diffuser is actually constructed out of rubber. It attaches to the underside of the bumper and extends back to the engine's plastic undertray, where it is also attached.

The install is very simple if you have all the parts. In addition to the bumper itself, the diffuser is essential -- you simply gotta have it. You'll also need fender liners (or protectors). I don't really know what Nissan calls them but this diagram shows you the pieces I'm referring to. Those two parts the lines I drew are pointing to are the "fender liners." Without them, you'll have an ugly gap in your wheel well b/c the Nismo front bumper is wider than stock.

Now, back when my install was done, the fender liners, which cost about 120.00 per set (about 240.00 to cover both sides) were not available in the USA so I would have to order them direct from Japan, which could mean unpredictably lengthy delivery times. So I opted to have the body shop fabricate some pieces to do the same job. This turned out great, so I probably saved a little money on that.

Otherwise, no problems. The Nismo is a 370Z, just like yours. The Nismo parts fit the stock car just fine. You don't need any extra hardware really.

Hope that answered your question.

Greed do you have a part number on the front diffuser and other parts required for the install? My dealership said they can order anything for me really cheap...if they can find it. I tried to get them to look it up but they couldnt find anything, they said they need a part number.

Also to anyone that is interested in the kit front Godspeed. There is a few kits he got in 2 weeks ago. One is set aside for me, just going to be some time before i can pay the rest off, got to finish work to my ZX6R so i can get that inspected and on the road. I talked to Ken and he is going to email me pictures of the actual kit tomorrow.

Looks awesome Greed! My only concern would be the paint job on the bumper not matching the rest of the car. (For some reason getting something painted outside the factory always worries me when it comes to matching the factory job).

Thanks, Red. And you're right to be concerned about that. I'll be the first to admit that mine doesn't match up exactly. I think it's about a grade off. It's only noticeable under certain light though. I've seen showroom cars that match up worse. I was gonna ask the body shop to respray it, then I figured it would be best to leave well enough alone.

anyone here done either the Nismo Rear conversion or the Rear Spoiler modification yet? I wanna see some installation pics or part numbers....I'm planning on changing my 370z to the Nismo body kit slowly piece by piece, but I hope by then somebody else have done it and I don't become the first one.

Can anyone confirm that the Spoiler price? last time I put a spreadsheet together, it was ~$3000 (un-painted). Freaking ridiculously expensive.

I plan to mod my rear bumper first to Nismo. Any good replica companies out there yet that makes the Nismo body kit (not S-Tune)?

I have the complete Nismo rear fascia shaved and painted sitting in my spare bedroom complete with the rear fender protectors. I'm hoping to get around to install it this weekend. I will post up plenty of pics when done!

nice, I think that'll also be my first mod. Let me know how it goes bro. Are you planning to do the whole kit like I planned to as well?

Can you tell me how much it'll cost? Right now I am planning out the cost, if u don't mind me asking how much it cost you for your paint job, do you think selling my stock rear bumper will cover the paint job's cost? Or do u think it's much more?

I have done the full body conversion (save for the Nismo Spoiler). Total cost involved in the rear bumper, front bumper, side skirts and other fitment pieces is around $4000 for me at dealer cost (20% below retail).

Check out my conversion:
