sorry i forgot to inqure.. When taking off the bumper for my intakes i dont see it being able to not interchange as its simply the bolts under the hood, 1 bolt in each fender well, and the clips under the headlights..

i am confident that it fits with no issues but i will find out 100%

yes please do and report back! If it's discovered that we can simply buy the $200 nismo bumper without all the 'other' stuff there will be many happy Z owners here!

I had a chance to go to the dealer and look at the bumber up close again. The bottom tray seems pretty essential to keeping the bumbper from getting beat up, bent or otherwise damaged from low curbs. You may be able to attach the Nismo bumper without it, but you may not want to in the long run. The problem is that tray is expensive.

x2, the tray is super expensive.. i wonder if a company can take the time out to make a replica of the bottom tray ... the shop by me rarely drives their Z and i dont believe they have it on there now, but with the little driving they do with that car they can get away with it...

i wonder if anyone has tried to rig their stock under tray to fit that bumper.. the problem is that not ALL 370z owners are on this site so someone some where may know. If anyone seens a non nismo 370 with the bumper installed CHASE THEM DOWN! lol

Greed is on a distinguished road
Default It can be done!

Hello,
I'm a long-time lurker first-time poster. I have had the Nismo front bumper successfully and neatly installed onto my base / sport 370. All you really need to buy is the bumper (about $350 or less), front bumper diffuser ($470 - $624) and (optionally) the front fender liners (about $130 each. You'll need two sets -- one for each wheel well).
The liners can be hard to get. I was told by my dealership's parts person that the liners currently aren't stocked anywhere in the U.S. so you have to order them direct from Japan, which can mean unpredictably lengthy delivery times. However, a body shop can fabricate reasonable facsimiles easily enough.
The liners, labeled "protectors" by Nissan, cover the gap in the outer wheel wells created by the wider Nismo bumper. They also allow the bumper's fenders to be riveted into place just inside the outer wheel well. Trust me, these liners (or their fabricated replacements) are a MUST. Your car will look like crap without them.
I can say with absolute certainty that your stock engine undertray will work just fine. It can be pulled forward slightly and completely fastened to the front diffuser that attaches to the bottom of the Nismo bumper. No need to spend $1133.98 on the Nismo's flared undertray.
You don't need to get much extra hardware to bolt the bumper on. All your existing bolts and fasteners can be retrofitted, and the extra you'll need are readily available at the dealerships and can be easily obtained by a body shop, if they don't keep them handy already.
Hope this helps.

Greed - great friggin post! This is the info everyone has been waiting for! Kinda sucks that you need the liners and diffuser but at least you dont need the extra hardware, brace, undertray etc. Now if only we can find an aftermarket company to step up and make CF replicas for less $$$ than OEM Nismo.

and yes...PICS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so from the sounds of it, the nismo front end conversion is still expensive, not due to the undertray as we all thought but due to other pieces

and what is this diffuser everyone speaks of?
