BAD taillights....

:shakes head: So.... im just in a bad mood... i noticed that BOTH my taillights have moisture in the reverse light area... im guessing its a factory defect..... or a bad seal... i took it to the dealer to warranty it.... but they were jus bull crapping me cuz they said i proly broke the seal when i installed my fog lamp which is soooo bull because i didnt even take out the right side and its leaking also... after debating with the manager... for like thirty minutes i said nvm :shakes head: ill reseal it myself.... i was soooo irritated beyond anything.... ugh anyways if it ***** up in the future ill buy the jdm taillights...

Last time I checked, You have every right to take apart the taillights and not lose your warranty. If it were me, I wouldnt have given up until the taillights got replaced.

oh and BTW, they know you didnt cause it, they just dont want to put up the money, dont let them win. Nobody in their right mind would actually think taking out a taillight would cause them to break.

try another dealer

How does your fog lamp have anything to do with your tail lights? Secondly are your tail lights under warranty? Yes. Dealer has to fix them end of story. No satisfaction from them tell them you're contacting Head Office.

I can't imagine why they wouldn't replace them. They get paid for warranty work from Nissan....

That's complete horse$hit bro. I hope you get it all taken care of. Hell, if nothing else, do what nogood said and paint em'. That would be pretty sick!

nogoodname 07-31-2009 10:19 AM

it would be smoked out from the inside

Tim 07-31-2009 10:37 AM

^sounds like a good idea

hybridnation 07-31-2009 02:03 PM

I got the same problem with my tail light .looks like theres dirt on the inside of it

CBRich 07-31-2009 09:56 PM

You did not open the tails. Your warranty is still good. They must fix the light.

nogoodname 07-31-2009 10:09 PM

you could either argue with the GM or call HQ and find out they'll do nothing.
then let the problem escalate with the dealer to the point where you guys are really pissed, and then HQ will step in and do something.

OR

since you know how to open them up and seal them up. you could do it and black out the inside.

DIGItonium 08-01-2009 12:12 AM

That's retarded... don't you have to pull out your tail lights just to replace the bulbs?
