Tach & speedo grinding upon startup

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. Upon startup, when the tach & speedo engage, It makes a grinding sound. I took the car to Nissan and was told I need a new instrument cluster at $1200 CAD. I'm going to live with it for now, as it is not that noticeable. When I do get around to changing it I would like to go with an aftermarket cluster. Anyone know if there is an aftermarket cluster available?

Try to find one from a autowrecker, that's your best bet.

The cluster holds your mileage too! So have fun with that! Lol

Edit: BTW, you cannot buy a manual or Nismo cluster
