Custom Leather Seats Idea
 

What do you guys think of this color pattern for my 2009 Chicane Yellow 370z?
Thinking about getting something like this for my custom leather seat installation.

Too much yellow

Looks nice. But as DEpointfive0 pointed out, it could end up with to much yellow.
Maybe swap the black/yellow on the seats? And w/ yellow stitch?

Just a thought :)

Personally, I like the look. Not sure I'd want it in my DD but it sure would attract some attention at car shows.

Not my daily driver... car is driven about 3,000 miles a year and weekends and days off from work...

Looks like they belong on bumblebee. Second option is way better.

I would go with just the stitching in yellow

Makes it subtle and not so much in your face. IMO

Keep in mind my Z is the 2009 Chicane YELLOW.

Yeah that looks good! The first one was just a little much.

I like the second design better also. How much will it cost to get it done?

Probably around $1,500 after installation...

My only issue with the 2nd style is that it's a pretty typical 2 tone design. The first one would be much more unique.

The first one is painful to the eyes. The second looks good. My $0.02.

My tastes i feel that the more colors you add the cheaper everything looks..bc it is obvious that its not factory if you get it..

It's still ridiculously rare

The first one just screams "early 2000s Hot Import Nights" to me. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I'd go with less is more where bright yellow is concerned. The second one is borderline, but still somewhat tasteful.

Very true! I'm 33 years old and the yellow seats do bring me back to my younger days, which is probably why I am attracted to them! They're probably not a very practical choice, but they do have a certain appeal for me...

Truth be told, I'll probably end up going with all light grey to replicate the Touring grey seats... Still have a lot to consider....

Personally I would get the centre sections of the seat and top vertical side of the doors in diamond quilted yellow suede. The Bolsters and flat armrest on the door in black leather.

Waiting for leather samples to come in the mail... Then will be making my final decision.
I'm leaning towards the Black with yellow inserts but we'll see....

They finally arrived! Going to get 370z logo embroidered into the upper back rest.. and then installed with seat heaters!

They are not as limey as the photoshops. That's good.

Limes are green :bowrofl:

Had a local embroidery shop make up this sample for me to get an idea of what it would look like to have this logo embroidered into my leather seats...

Going to have the "Z" fully closed instead of having the split line running through in, and increase the thread count but over all I LOVE IT!

Looking good.

FINALLY my seats have been embroidered...
Also going to have seat heaters installed along with factory OEM Switches..
Installation takes place this weekend!

The seats and door panel inserts were about $1,300 from Leatherseats.com

Got these embroidered by a local screen printer and I'm having a local leathertop place do the install for about $350. I don't want to risk doing something like this by myself.

I was planning to do this EXACT same thing, only with red and black. To "look" exactly the same as stock nismo seats, but be in leather. How did you decide on colors, stitching and material. During the process of choosing it doesnt show you the outcome, you just kinda have to hope everything you chose looks nice.

I did everything over the phone...

2nd one is better 1st one was way to mch.
