Question about fog light wiring.

Hi, so I modded my fog light with 7443 socket. I also want the F1 style in reverse. I have read through every posts related to "fog light" and still have a bit of uncertainty. Anyhow, will the below wiring work? If so, what would happen when I apply break during reverse? (like, would the light turn solid or keep blinking?) Is it necessary to use a relay? Thank you in advance.

P.S. please excuse my "noob-ness" :tiphat:

The high filament will be on whenever the brake light is on. It will blink when in reverse until you hit the brakes, then it will go "solid."

If you will use an LED version of the 7443, a relay should not be necessary.

Thanks, that clears things up a bit.

Why the above wiring wouldn't work with the incandescent bulb? As far as I know, the relay just switches the circuit when received signal.

And sub'd for later use

Hey do you have a link to where you bought the fog light?
I can't seem to find a fog light that is dual filament or 7443 socket so when I have my head lights on the fog light is on and when I brake the fog light gets brighter
