DIY week

Had a great DIY week with the Z... un-plastidipped my rims after at least a year with it on
finally installed my stillen gen 3 intakes (thanks to this post http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...de-ak370z.html) took me nearly 8 hours (with a dinner break) and it was a pain...but worth it... side note: should only take 2-3 hours but my Z was a salvage and alot of things were more difficult to unscrew/bolt and the fitting of certain things was not perfect Also took off the badges to black them out (thanks to this post http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...r-emblems.html) Used Dupli-color perfect match Universal gloss black and universal clear... came out a good level of glossy hopefully more to come |
I got my intakes sitting in the house in a box. Need to find time to install them. Overall did you notice any power increase or throttle response change? How'd it feel on the butt dyno?

ive only taken it for one good spin since installing.. (still debadged and looks like crap) but i think the ecu still has to adjust.. When reving i could hear a slightly deeper tone but it wasnt anything huge... I feel once i break it in on a few more drives the butt dyno will show bigger results... throttle response felt quicker but only time will tell

Good to know. And from a fellow jersey guy. Think I might do mine tomorrow. Intakes spacers and eibach springs. Good luck with the ride.

enjoy it... i changed my oil and took it for a 2 hour long drive today...felt great until i hit traffic...started to notice a more powerful kick when i accelerate so its lookin good... deff worth the $ to upgrade
