Default It was time.

So... After much thought and debate about whether to do it myself or to pay somebody else to do it for me... I finally decided to take the dive and attempt to take my headlights apart and paint them myself. They are awaiting their 2nd coat as I speak... Will update with pictures as I get them.

For all of you that are nervous about doing this yourself, don't be. It actually isn't that bad. I used the heatgun/cardboard box method and it was pretty easy.

Black, black, and more black lol. Though I am attempting to leave the small chrome boomerang alone to give it some contrast. Not sure if my tape job will allow that it not though.

Very nice, interested in seeing the final product. Just make sure that you seal it up water tight

Xplicit97,

DIY: LED Halo w/Video's

this was the guide I used. I just didn't have the supplies to add the leds to it this time around. so I only looked at the videos for heating and disassembling.

Finally finished it. all in all probably took about 5-6 hours. not too bad. Here are some pictures of the finally product. It is almost 2 a.m. so please bare with the bad night time shots. I'll try and post some daytime ones in the morning.

Also, I apologize for the dirtiness of her right now. Been storming around here so I haven't been able to wash all the bugs off from my 10 hour drive =/ stupid insects

Some daytime shots for all to enjoy

I really like how the chrome boomerang pops against the black. Was a good decision to tape that off lol
