Is it a good idea to buy a damaged Nismo wing?

I am pretty sure that it will at least cover all the holes. I know Seibon wing does, and it is supposed to be an exact replica (other then the middle bar).

Maybe I am thinking of a different material or technology has changed in the last 10 years. When I was rear ended 10 years ago in my Celica, I was told that whatever the stock bumper was made of needed to be replaced because the material was not fixable. I thought it was polyurethane.

I am glad you replied. So the consensus is that this wing is probably ABS plastic. Do you think the crack can be fixed and fully restored in strength?

At my shop we would charge $100 to fix plus paint time.

What's it take to sand down the previous paint and go with a different color just out of curiosity...

I don't know off hand b/c I do the body work not paint maybe between 75-150 and that's a guess.

The OEM Nismo wing is 2 main pieces, the upper portion is about 600-800 and the lower portion (mount) is about 1200.

Also it's expensive because not just anyone can buy an OEM Nismo wing, you have to have a nismo VIN and ordering the wing as a replacement because of damage, etc.
