DESCRIPTION Racelogic Traction Control System Universally recognized as the best after market system available, not only dramatically reducing the chances of an accident, but also positively enhancing acceleration. This is why companies like Aston Martin and Lotus Cars choose to fit the system, as unlike other systems, it always improves the performance of the vehicle. The car becomes more fun to drive than before, giving the driver new levels of confidence in pushing the car to its limits without ever overstepping the mark. Driving with Traction Control Once you have driven a powerful car with Racelogic Traction Control, you will never want to be without it. We are so sure you'll love it, that we offer a 30 day money back guarantee if you don't agree. Acceleration out of corners becomes rapid and repeatable. Just bury the throttle and the system does the rest; constantly adjusting the power of the engine every thousandth of a second, searching for maximum grip. In a rear wheel drive car you can use full throttle around a corner with full confidence that the rear end isn't going to suddenly break away. In a front wheel drive vehicle, power understeer is cured, with the system setting the correct level of power to finely balance the vehicle. In wet and slippery conditions the system really becomes fun. Stomp on the gas and watch other cars disappear behind you as the car accelerates as fast as the grip allows without skidding all over the road. Acceleration away from traffic lights is so much quicker than cars without the system, that you'll leave behind scores of drivers with faster cars. |
This is definitely on my parts wish list.

Hell ya, Where can I get one? also will it work better if I get a new rear diff?

GTM Motorsports*::*Traction Control*::*GTM RACE LOGIC TRACTION CONTROL PNP don't know abut the rear diff upgrade |
Expensive upgrade, but it's on my dream wishlist.
The new location looks clean. Did you scrap the heated seat controls completely? |

For that price, I expect little gnomes to jump out of the wheel wells at each turn and spray down some liquid rubber for added traction...
|
I'm curious to see if Ecutek will provide similar results when they allow the stock VDC to be adjusted.
|
From my understanding, Ecutek will allow traction control to be set to different values when it is tuned. Racelocic will allow you to adjust it on the fly.

Being able to adjust it on the lets you adjust for rain, track conditions, and have different settings for track and street. My boss has it on his 600 whp track supra and swears its the greatest thing ever.

He's kind of a tool, but he's at least a car guy. There's no way I'm putting a name out there. :rofl2:

So we probably aren't talking about the same person |
Late 40's, bad combover? This guy lives in Austin and manages all of TX. It's not out of the realm of possibility you've run into him, especially if you spent any time at tracks here.

And OP that new spot looks so clean, really nice!
|
Ecutek coud possibly be set for street, rain, and dry traction control if it has the ability to switch between tunes on the fly like Uprev (which i'm guessing is possible). However, I doubt it could sample or adapt as fast as Racelogic.

wait, i turn off vcd and you want more vdc? :ugh2:
anyway, the install looks great! |
For over 2k that thing should install itself, and then it should write the check and pay for itself.
|
Thought it was cool....... UNTIL I looked at the price :eek2:
|
I started my install, I used your mount solution, great location.
I need some stick-on like your CF to cover the up-side-down GTM logo. http://www.the370z.com/members/pokey...4-pict0094.jpg |
if I order the PNP system from GTM, how hard is it to install?
Also, where yall have the controller is where I would want mine as well... Does it come ready to install there, or do you have to MOD it? Thanks |

just pull up the cup holder and see for yourself? theres ample room down there.
|
No, did you make an aluminum bracket to hold it in or have to fab up something to hold it in place? I know how to take the center console out. Just wondering how the controller is secured there
