Removing plastic near the fangs?
 

I am thinking of removing the plastic pieces on either sides of the fangs as it doesnt seem to do anything and if anything, collects bugs. anyone taken theirs off yet (can you tell me how) or knows if its doing a useful function which im unaware of.
It doesnt add to the look and if anything, restricting airflow into the car.

I took mine off 2 or 3 weeks ago. Once you take the under tray out from under the front of the car and take a look under there, it is pretty self explanitory. The screws are kind of hard to get to, but if you move things around enough, they come out.
