just wondering what the box is to the right? i know the one on the left is the stock amp. this car isnt a nav car, either. i heard its for satelite radio, but its the only one i could find a picture of. does anyone else have any pictures of this area? preferrably from a bose/nav model.

if anyone has measurments of that area as a bonus, that'd be awesome :yum:

i was curious, since i've only seen it in one car. Z1's white Z has only one box, in the middle. and its a touring sport w/ bose. heres a pic.


i guess i'm going to have to try and relocate it all, since i was hoping to put my sub box in that spot.

You know what's weird... I know someone with a 2009 Sport Touring and he has both... My 2009, sport touring with nav only has the left one...
But I remember from his part out

Does the nav replace that unit?

I can only assume so? But I know on a 2009 there is a HDD nav memory behind the passenger seat while '10+ has a DVD based solution

I'm sure you could relocate that to fit your audio stuff. Hell if you're successful make a DIY for the rest of us lol

and yeah, that first one is non nav, and i think Z1's car(the second pic) is nav..but a 2009 i think. mines a 2011. i wish i had my damn car right now. i'll do a DIY when i get home then. im shoving an 8w7 in a ported box there if i can, sealed if i can't. i just haven't been able to find anything confirming the extra box, except that the amp is for bose only cars
