side view mirrors STICKERS
Ok, I like stickers, I'm undecided at present between my "Objects in mirror are losing" or the more star trekkie "Objects in mirror will be assimilated". I've run into a snag which I always do when it comes to the car.
My driver side mirror has no text, easy I'll just stick it on there. The passenger does however (see pics) and for the life of me it seems the letters is etched into the glass and not stuck on? I can't imagine having to replace the mirror, it has to come off right? "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" that's not really etched into the glass. I eagerly await the answer to this great mystery. Thanks Metal

The only way to replace the mirror would be to buy aftermarket F1 style mirrors... Even OEM mirrors will come with the etching.
I'd say between the two, the "are losing" one sounds better. Because the assimilated doen't really work in this context...

I've seen the "Objects in mirror are losing" a few times, I've always liked it and meant to try and find some.
But didn't really think about the etching on the passenger side.

The passenger side gets etched in due to by laws and regulations. The drivers side mirror does not offer the same optical illusion of distance like the passenger mirrors do.
Go with the "losing" one, assimilated makes no friggin' sense. |
