I checked out the link to the Seibon dry carbon hood. Its doesn't even say how much it weighs. (Unless I am missing something). I am guessing that at low

I checked out the link to the Seibon dry carbon hood. Its doesn't even say how much it weighs. (Unless I am missing something). I am guessing that at low of a price, that they are not using a very strong resin system.
Just because it it dry carbon, doesn't mean it is a strong epoxy pre-preg. I'm not on here hating on carbon fiber hoods at all, I am just saying compared to a stock 370z hood, you might not get the weight savings you are expecting. The G37 might have a heavier steel hood. |
