I think either color looks good, just depends on the color scheme you having going on with the rest of the car.

I initially thought the same thing about putting black chrome emblems on my black car. It actually looks really good in my opinion. The colored emblems, while very original, look a little funny imo

I may clean them back off and go with a Metalcast smoke (black chrome). Or I may even copper plate them, lol.

Yeah, that red is killing me on the front end. I can't stop laughing. So, wipe with some thinner and copper plate it or.......

bake my headlamps and fix it another route?

And going back to chrome didn't help much. Now I can never look at the car again without seeing a cute button nose.

Rudolph the red nosed race-car.
Had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw it, that means that the car was slow.
All of the other race-cars,
Used to laugh and call it names.
They never let the race-car,
Join in any SCCA games.
Then they met the car one eve,
And they laughed with glee.
Then the race-car started its engine,
And the other cars were history.

I did this as well and it looks amazing. I did blue, because it goes along with my te37 stickers, valve stems, and caps. In addition to that, I have a blue tow hook so it works. I'll post pics when it stops raining this week lol

^^^ honestly don't know what I wrote there. Alcohol I'm assuming my bad.

Anyway, here's a follow up on the emblems. When they were first done, they looked amazing. And months later, the rears still do. But the front has chipped significantly due to road debris, and the wind getting into those tiny little chips makes them grow.
So I would suggest using some type of a clear coat spray once they dry.
Also, if anyone else experienced this, a VERY easy way to get the paint off is to soak the emblems in nail polish remover. It doesn't damage the emblems and it makes the spray wrinkle up and come off without effort. Just an FYI.
