Got my switches in today!

Left one is a momentary switch for the garage door opener. Middle is for the rear fog. Right one is for future use.

cool. i have the regular rockers on mine. they look like yours. :)

one is for interior light, one for rear fog, and one for my HU's dvd e-brake bypass.

How does that work?

Is that code for "Rocket Launcher switch"?

when i chose to run dvd, the HU will display a warning not to watch dvd while driving. i just flick the switch and the HU will give me an "OK" icon to press on the screen, and i watch dvd.

there's automatic relay bypass you can buy online but mine is manual.

i have a generic SPST toggle in my G's cubby that does the same. :)

Have you thought about getting a relay to do it?

Do you have a link for the switches? And are they easy to install? thanks!

Got em here

Full Size Rocker Switches - 1/4'' Tabs | 7700

Pop out the blanks and push the switch in. The blanks are held in by tabs on the front and rear!

I chose to use a switch also. My switch is hidden and there's no automatic enabling of the illegal dvd while driving function. I'd much rather have manual control over something like that.

yah, my dd uses a relay e-brake bypass i bought from ebay. works fine.

but on my Z, i needed something to populate the 3 blanks so i chose to do the dvd bypass sw as one of the 3. i dont even use the interior light, lol...but it works. the 3rd switch is my rear fog lamp.

I've been trying to find the thread on making the center buttons into aux/usb...

Thanks for the link. I assume any of those listed on that link will fit. I'm going to get these soon just as dummy switches as my fog light is hooked up to the license plate light.

Can anyone confirm if this is the same switch? I've been trying to track them down in the UK.

That's what I did with mine plus an illuminated switch for my front fog lights. Works great!

Lol just realized that last post... sorry but I didn't use those switches so I'm not sure.
