My '09 Touring uses an Allen screw. Loosen/remove the screw and slide the mirror assembly up to remove from bracket glued to windshield. The FSM (see link in my sig) will tell you if the Base model is different.

Then there must be a big difference between the Base and Touring - the Allen screw on mine is visible without removing anything. Check the FSM.

Hammer.
Smash the windshield with the hammer. Tell the windshield repair guys to leave the factory mirror off when they replace the glass. Pop open a beer and watch the glass guys do their thing. No need to thank me. It's my pleasure to help Incase you didn't know, that was a joke.. Please Simota, do not use a hammer on your car.

Does this help? Obviously, base model won't have the harness connected to anything, but I'm pretty sure it's identical. The manual doesn't indicate it's different across packages.

There shouldn't be that much difference in the mirror mounting hardware. I haven't seen a Base setup but every "stick-on" mirror I've ever worked on was the same basic design - "wedge" plate glued to windshield, mirror bracket held to plate with a set screw. Only big differences have been the type of screw head (Torx, Allen, &c) and whether or not the screw was hidden by a plastic cover. YMMV; no telling what car manufacturers will do.
