Vichtz where are you going to be installing your lip? I'm down in Houston and thinking of getting this lip myself but I want to see if there's any fitment issues first. I wouldn't mind meeting you up to help with your installation if you're close enough. CS is a bit too far though lol.

Got it narrowed down to 3 lips including INGS also. Think all that matters now is how well each lip fits. Houston roads aren't friendly and those small dips and bumps will definitely get me.

there is not much more clearance then the chin spoiler, mine has bottomed out a couple times. but im always scraping the big plastic protector piece underneath. i dont know how people go lower.

like my side skirts, i can not make a fist and put it under my car.

either way, the ings is a work of art and worth the purchase

i removed the sport air deflector and the small deflectors forward of the front tire when i installed the ings.

the ings does not go down at all beside the 5mm or watever the thickness of the CF is on the bottom... it appears
lower in the front but it really isnt. just extends out a little bit more forward.

one thing to remember though, the ings CF is not a finished product. you have to sand it down and UV coat it before use.

Sometime next year, probably mid year, I'll be in Houston at the MEPS to swear in (depending on what my OCS board says). If you haven't snagged one by then I'll be happy to swing by haha.

Hey guys! For those of you that are asking how the fitment on my Lip + Fang Cover combo worked out, it's hard to say.

The issue with the 3-pc lip is the center. It's designed to rest inside the recess with the fangs. So if you have the fang cover, it pushes it forward, and then throws everything out of alignment, where the front sticks out too far. I had to grind the side tabs on the center piece, and to make it all fit together seamlessly, I used black silicone from home depot to kind of "3d mould" the lip together. It actually came out nicer than I thought, and I get compliments all the time about it!

My original plan was to have a shop mould it together nicer, but this way - I'm not committed to the lip - it's still removable and can be sold and used on a regular 370z without the fang cover, and I think the black silicone is unnoticeable unless you look closely. It's no pro job, but it's good enough for me. I'm planning on Amuse down the line, so.
