the door handles, its probably doable, I don't think they will melt at 400, but I didn't want to play with mine. I don't really like the black chromes, they just look gray metallic. I've yet to find a black chrome that is dark enough for my tastes.

Re install those 2 screws so you wont loose them back on take them off when your ready to disassemble them. Remove door tumbler rod, just a clip. When you got the driver's side off remove the tumbler. It's retained by a 10 mm bolt. Remove the lil plate holding the rear full molding. Remove the black molding. Heres the tricky part you must put a flat head screw driver in the lil slot when the handle is completely open to keep it from closing. zip tie ito the main arm and anchor. This will keep it from closing and will help on holding it when your shooting it with paint. Then cut the zip to shoot the top. YOu will do this a couple of times to ensure all paint and clear is on. Unfortunately there is two square gaskets on the handle that will make the paint come off. I went to and cut those of a wrecked 350z and 3m glued it tomake it stick to prevent it from cracking the rest of the paint and two so it wonts rip the other gasket. Here's pics of the finished products.
LOOKS GREAT, I think I'll keep the silver on my platinum graphite for now, but I will probably do this in the future.

Hey I lowered your car for you in PS, thought you and others would like to see how it would look with your painted wheels

I personally like the contrast of the silver against my black Z.

I don't think the stock silver handles are ugly nor conspicuously odd. I think they look great.

I'm not here to be judgmental nor label others' tastes as "poor." It's your car, I could care less if you put spinners or wire wheels on it, airbrushed your g/f or b/f on the hood, put airbags or hydraulics on the suspension, used velvet for your interior, used a chain-link steering wheel, put "stripper" mudflaps instead of splash guards, used a 80's limo boomerang spoiler, put a early 90s cellphone antenna on the rear glass, and the likes...but I love my car completely stock, with maybe the exception of the "high" height (I hate the big gaps in the wheel wells). Hell, I like the stock Rays more than most aftermarket JDM wheels.

I usually think that gorgeous cars such as the 370 don't need anything in terms of cosmetic enhancements. Just my 2-cents...

^^ Those 80s limo boomerang spoilers were actually television antennaes.

This is crazy to me, but I'm glad you got your car the way you like it.

I think it looks great. To each his own. I need to consider this on my red Z.

I got a red z too. I'd consider a Carbon Fiber replace ment of the handles. I wonder how long the paint will last without commingof if we paint them though. I guess we will C. But they look good. I wouldnt mind painting mine either. 2 cents

so how hard would it be for a company to make the handle mold in carbon fiber? I think that would be sick!

I'm with DJ here, that would be awesome. The little button might be difficult to do, but that could just be a gloss black since it is so small.
