Question Recommended track protection?

A bunch of friends of mine are going out to the desert to get their speed fix:
El Mirage OHV Recreation Area, Barstow Field Office, Bureau of Land Management California

The dust and rocks will probably be more demanding than on an actual organized track so I'm wondering what people's recommendation might be to help protect my paint while I'm out there.

This product has caught my eye and I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried it:

^With Cali's rainy season behind us I'm not terribly concerned with the coating dissolving pre-maturely.

Sadly reviews for it have been few and far between. Need your help!

Other options I've considered is the classic blue painter's tape, trakktape (ridiculously expensive in my book), or maybe even plastidip.

I use just clear Contact paper. Bought it at Home Depot. Sticks to the bumper and around wheels pretty well and it comes off great, even after a day in the hot sun. In fact, it's on my car in my sig pic.

you can also use the clear carpet protector film that they use on carpeting in new houses. they sell that at home depot too.

I haven't seen that stuff in the first post, but another company used to make something similar but discontinued it due to some of the chemicals not being available anymore. Anyways, I used it a couple times and it was great. My stuff was brush on and peel off.

I'll check both of these things out. Thanks for the input.

But has anyone tried Wolf's "the mask"? So far haven't seen a solid review on it yet but the product seems very intruiging.

Man I probably should have just named the thread with the name of the product. Bump.
