Simple... How complicated are the other wiring systems? You need 2 wires, that's about it... Then you tap into a tail light... That doesn't seem difficult.

Well I'll help point you in the right direction, but honestly just splice in the two wires from the fog light into your driver side tail light and you'll be good to go. If you want it to just come on every time you hit the brakes, (like my setup) then just tap one to ground and the other to whichever wire powers the bulb. I can't remember which color but I'm sure you could find it online somewhere Edit: Just do what he said ^ |
DEpointfive0 like i said...if i was expert at these stuff i wouldnt be sking question and looking for help.. and i said that i seen already so many different style people that have done in here just wanted to see an easier way that doesnt take too much time and effort and i dont have to spend more money.... u just came up with like hoping no one to respond to this..dude like come on ..jus feelin like gettin bullied here jus coz ur a premium member and u got mad ideas.. i feel like ur one of those geek jerks that discriminate people with less ability to understand things...if u dont want to help jus dont do it.. i got faith on atleast some ppl who can b positive and helpful.. neways thx.
Grindkiezer thankx a lot dude i really appriciate ur help. ill try to take this one to the wiring guys and hopefully get it done. |
You should read the threads; there is a ton material on this installation and various ways to set up the wiring and different lamp options. I changed out my to a duel filament blub and scoket and have it working with the lights "on" and brake. I notice that people behind me tend to stay further back when I hit the brake light, maybe they are just trying to figure out what they are seeing.

If you don't want to take time and effort then go pay someone to do it. Time, money and effort is the nature of this hobby.

This is the easiest diy for the fog light install: http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...lamp-easy.html

I installed my fog light last weekend. It's not that difficult -- if you have issues w/ the bolts, you can drill those out. GL!

^ Yeah I had an issue with one of my bolts so I just went to town on it with my Dremel
