New 370Z owner needing help with mods
I purchased an 09 NISMO 370Z a couple months ago and so far I love the car, but I also want a nice, loud sounding exhaust; the stock exhaust just doesn't cut it. The problem is that spending $1000-2000 is too pricey just to improve the sound, so are there better options you guys can recommend?

Long tube headers. Totally changes the sound and 20-30whp. Fast intentions long tubes would b 1350 plus 500-800 installed; power and sound eh one way to spend 2k
That price can be Betten btw

look at short tails from AAM for a sound change, just don't expect power gains.

The long tube headers are out of the question, but the CAI and short tails might be good. Which would make my car sound better?

another easy way to increase the volume of your exhaust is to replace your cats with test pipes. Fast Intentions resonated test pipes, Motordyne ART pipes, and there are others.

Bro you have a Nismo don’t cheap out! Get the real deal. Save your money and get a real exhaust, hfc, and some intakes. AAM for sound change but no power gains is a waste. That sounds rice to me.

Ditto on the test pipes. Cheapest way to change exhaust tone and add a few HP. Then save your money for a full exhaust system down the road.
Watch the for sale forum and you could easily do CAI and test pipes for less than $750. Welcome to the forum and happy modding |
