Need help with interior mod ideas

I'm all about interior when it comes to cars and don't get me wrong, I love the interior in my z but I want to add something to make it more unique and what not. I'm not into huge speakers and I can't afford to swap out my seats and I planned on doing all the labor work myself. Also I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on obscure carbon fiber parts because that adds up.

So if you guys could please influence me with some of your interior mods with links to where I am buy them, that would be a great help!

Thanks:driving:

If you don't have nav, possibly upgrade your head unit

clazzio seat covers if you have the base seats.

other than maybe a GT-R start button, leave it alone.

If you don't do seats, speakers, wrapping or radio there isn't much. Maybe an alcantara wheel. You could also color the stitching around the cabin with a marker. Some people also get LED interior lights. Makes them really bright, also different colors.

What kind of marker?

Is there a DIY for that?

Not yet, there isn't. You could be the first!

So I decided to buy the fabric pen today and worked on the interior for a half hour to start off which was a nice inexpensive extra, here are some pics.. (The dome lights I had bought a long time ago I just wanted to add them in)

What could I do to the head unit? Besides iPad mini

I meant full aftermarket, I have the Avic Z-140bh installed in mine and I love it. I was interested in the Navigation portion of it but figured why not get one with Nav, Dvd, Cd, Bluetooth calls/music, Hd radio, Sd Card functionality, and 30 pin usb to iphone compatibility for full touch screen controls. A great investment because if you were to even install aftermarket audio components your already one step ahead.

But if you were looking to saving money and not into changing too much of the interior stuff then maybe just skip to better audio equipment like a sub or amp.

Can't see your posted pictures, but you could consider wrapping your trims. I'm assuming when you say you don't want to spend hundreds on cf panels, you're talking about the wet carbon overlays made by companies here? 3m vinyl is another choice, you can wrap it in carbon, gloss black, brushed metal, etcetc. Pretty cheap, I got the material to do mine for less than $20. Previous owner did it on carbon, I redid it in gloss black metallic

You can start taking off whatever pats you want and start wrapping them lol. Another thing to do if you have a tablet is figure out a way to mount it onto your car if you like the look? I did mine with magnets

And of course, shift knob and shift boot changes the look a lot as well :) You can also do different color LEDs behind anything that lights up (door/window switches, ac backlight, etcetc). Get creative!

Wow nice interior, thanks I was thinking about wrapping a few panels in cf :driving:

Thank you sir :) Should do it! Inexpensive and good way to spice up your interior a little bit. Doesn't take much time either and easily reversible

Is it hard to wrap a circle? With a whole in the middle?

Yes wrapping the shifter bezel was a b*tch lol. I hate wrapping round things
