does anybody have the maximum dimension that can be placed on the cubby... I was wondering if the pioneer f90bt or the eclipse avn726e can fit when the whole area is hallowed out... kind of like the amplified 370z audio build but instead of putting just a monitor, place an in-dash navigation system instead...

I think the front is big enough, but as you go backwards (away from the driver seat towards the front of the car) the area gets smaller. Beyond that of what can fit an in-dash nav unit.

I cut a hole in the back of mine. Shaped it just right. My S&W M&P 40 fits perfect. The barrel goes through the hole. All I got to do is open the cubbie door, and wrap my hand around the grip. And then I'm ready. Also keep a spare clip in there too.

I installed a boost controller, and have room for sunglasses. The top of the BC mount is flocked to match the rest of the cubby.
