electric "noise" from window power switch

It high pitched electric noise. Happens only when closing the window, especially when I close the window accidentally when it's already closed. Doesn't happen often but.... I'm not that tech

Happens only when closing the window, especially when I close the window accidentally when it's already closed. Doesn't happen often but.... I'm not that tech savy, and I still have warranty. So hopefully it breaks before the warranty expires. Do you think it's worthwhile to purchase extended warranty?
