Can someone do this?
I was looking at shift knobs recently. I purchased a Black chrome Nismo shift knob a couple months ago. Me being overseas with the Army I didn't install it yet. I really like the style of the Hebi Bebi knob. Thought to myself:
If they had a black chrome version.... I get to googling and I find that they actually make this: This is the "Heavy Baby". I really prefer the Hebi Bebi style, but would LOVE it in Black Chrome. ^ "Hebi Bebi" Is there any way I could achieve the black chrome color/finish without spending an arm and a leg? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Last edited by The1michael; 03-29-2013 at 11:30 AM. |

That's interesting. I never knew about that first "Heavy Baby" one.
I always thought 'Hebi Bebi' is the same thing as 'Heavy Baby', because JDM tone. Anyway, is it powder coat-able? I wouldn't think PC'ing a shift knob would be too expensive but not sure if it's possible.

This was made with a process called "Anodizing"
A very interesting read found while googling: Http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2747461 Why does this remind me of dipping Easter Eggs? Last edited by The1michael; 03-29-2013 at 02:56 PM. |
