Plastidip spoiler
So in my depression of being broke and not being able to get the Amuse kit yet, much less a Mine's spoiler lip, I saw someone on this forum (wish I could remember who, and I give all credit for this idea to him if he sees this) plastidip the stock spoiler and it came out looking great to add some extra contrast. It looks a lot better in person. I realized after I got home and looked at it from the driveway that there were better angles that I could've snapped the pics at.
Personal tip that I've used myself every time I've plastidipped (simply thought out of my impatient nature) is to use a heatgun to cure each of the 4 coats. I basically spray on a light first coat thats enough to cover the whole area almost opague and then go over it with a heatgun for about a minute until you can actually see it dried up. Rinse and repeat until you get 4 good coats. Comes out smooth and with very minimal texture. The orange evo and blue wrx are other cars at my friend's shop getting dipped while I was doing my own thing

It's a pretty popular thing going on right now! They have franchised locations

Looks great.
Are you going to stop there or go ahead and do the door handles, fangs, license plate well, &c?

thank you guys
@southark370z, i painted the fangs and rear valence about a year ago. i will probably get the door handles painted white eventually, as i've got a thing against silver/silver-ish colors. not sure what you mean by "&c" though. as for the roof. i really thought bout it (with high gloss vinyl) but there's just something about the shape and size of our small angled roofs that doesn't look good to me. from the back, it looks awesome and gives the car the look of having a very long glass roof down to the rear windshield (with dark tints). from the front, it just looks off like it's lost its backbone. it just doesn't pull off black roofs like m3's or scion tc's do, imo.

yes it's a fairly big growing trend. it's like a cheapo alternative to doing full body vinyl wraps, and it's simple enough for everyone to do it. i'm personally into just limiting its use for small accents and wheels, preferably with glossifier.
