Default Bolt in Seat Rails

Hi all,

A few years back I bought a Cobra Suzuka from a friend (like new condition for $100 so I couldn't pass it up). I had the intention of putting it in my S14 but have since gotten a 370z. I love the seat and would love to find a way to mount it in my 370z for track days, and then be able to return it to stock for DD use. I would rather not drill into the Z. Does anyone know of a rail that would fit this seat? I am also rather tall and don't want the seat to sit any higher than stock as I already come close in a helmet. Side mount might be the best bet. Thanks.

I found this, but it doesn't list 370Zs. Maybe one of the other Nissan mounts will work.

You might want to look into the Bride FO rails. They mount to the floor using the stock mounting points and hardware, have integrated sliders, and sit really low. Only thing would be if they will fit your seat with side mounts.

Default Are You Crafty?

If you want the lowest possible seat mounts you can use angle steel to custom fabricate your mounts.

Check out my custom Ultra-Shield set up. I did need to add spacers (I stacked three 3/16 steel plates) on the left side bolts because our floor is not level. Although my setup was a bit more complicated because this seat is bottom mount in the rear and side mount in the front. A true side mount should be easier to make.

I also made a custom back brace (because it is an aluminum seat) but that is a whole different subject.

It has not been suggested but be sure to use Grade 8 bolts to assure approriate strength of the mount.
