Quick question!
 

Long story short, i have a PW and I'm going to be repainting my front bumper. That being said, should i shave off the front emblem while im at it?? I can always tape it back on if i hate it. Just need some opinions :)

To shave it you will have to fill the indention left by the hamburger.

You think it would be worth it in the end?

Someone else did it and it just looked awkward, like something really should be there. I'll search around and see if I can find it

I think it is worth it, looks so much cleaner.

Do that and get the EVO-R chrome Z emblem without a backplate.

Just curious. Do all debadged bumpers look awkward to you? Or is it 370z specific?

Actually I've debadged most of my prior cars, but when I saw the Z debadged I just thought it looked awkward. Just my opinion I guess.

Personally, i don't like the hamburguer and i would remove it on a heartbeat. It makes the front look a little more aggressive. If you shave it, please post pics... of your Z of course:icon17:

The badge is like the cars mustache. We're so used to it that when you take it off, it's like "WOAH WTF HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE!!"

I like it better with an emblem, it helps to give the bumper definition

Thanks for the pic!! Really helps when you see it on a color similar to your car. I like it, and i dont. I feel like it looks great, but i guess im so used to seeing it with an emblem that i feel like its missing something.

I can always double sided tape, an emblem, i guess. Hmm, decisions decisions.

yah, the emblem gives the front a focal point. without it, your eyeballs are all over the place searching for where to look.

Which leads me right to the sexy rear, which is also better shaved....:tup:

i feel like if you don't like the stock emblem you should really consider the EVO-R emblem, its pretty damn nice :)

i always felt the back of the car looks fine without an emblem but the front just looks naked without :\

Very true! Completely overlooked alternatives to emblems.
