Rally Armor Mud Flaps on a Z?!
Hello all,
I am debating putting on Rally Armor mud flaps on my Z. It would only be truly functional during winters with snow and salt piling up on the side of the car, but I would imagine it saving the paint from everyday driving. I also greatly enjoy the look of motorsport mud flaps and I have had them on my Evo and my STi. Price would be $100 from the Rally Armor site, I could probably find them for even cheaper. I know many will declare this ricer, but I particularly like the red mud flaps. What do you guys think? Attached are two pics of mud flaps on BRZ's, and one pic of my Z currently. The pic of my Z was taken with an iPhone then changed around with this one app. Sorry for the cheesy effects and weird distortions.. Side note, I recently put on GT3 RS side stripe decals and have been really enjoying them. Funny, I would put those stripes on my Z but not my 911..

Mud flaps make me think trucker but who am I to judge especially when I don't deal with snow and salt. As long as it's a tasteful installation.

Rosh, are you serious? Mud flaps on a Z? WTF are you smoking? Do you live near a nuclear power plant?
At church they keep saying, the end is near. I didn't know it was that near.

Not in for the mud flaps...I think it only looks good on a STi or evo. The Z is too sexy. |

Rally Armor flaps looks great on Lancers, Imprezza's, foresters etc
Granted, I'm surprised it looked pretty decent on a BRZ but I find it super out of place on a Z. so I vote no sir

Ya I dropped the idea awhile ago. They would have only stayed on during winters to avoid salt build up on the side of the car, as the factory tiny mud guards are no good for that. I will re debate this when winter comes if I notice nasty salt build up, but they have made a difference on my younger brother's (was mine) STi in NY winters, especially on the crappy water based Japanese paint.

I destroyed my right front factory "splash guard" at autox this past weekend....cones can be hard. Hence, I'm going to try a set of Rally Armor Black Urethane Mud Flaps on my white Z. Some of the places I autox have a lot of debris, gravel, etc. so this should help to not use a full roll of painters tape every weekend. Hater's gonna hate, but I'll post some pics and you all can make up your mind.
