[shift knob boot for automatic]
Okay so I spent all day searching the forums and I couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm interested in getting a boot to clean up the automatic shifter area but I don't want to use my stock shift knob (would like to replace it with a MOMO automatic shifter). My main focus would be on reducing the knob height to give it the "short shifter look". There is where the question comes in.
I've read guides and DIY's but can only seem to find how to give it that "short shifter look" on a 350z but not a 370z. The DIY states... Quote:
Big question......... Has anyone found a solution to this? or am I just missing something here?:icon14: Thanks! |
The only way to trim the white shift piece is to cut it.
At that point you're taking a big risk if you cut to much and it has to be completely replaced... $$$$$ Sure the stock height sucks, but that's one of the things you accept buying the 7AT. |
Hmmm im sub'd would like to see a fix to the problum my self......
