I followed up with Bomex yesterday and as you will see on their site, they are estimating that this lip will be available by mid-September.

I would suggest setting your hopes up for early-mid October just in case; hopefully it won't be too much longer.

today = Mid-September...

:tiphat: My point exactly. As some know and others don't, it is common for some companies to go past their deadline. This might be one of them.

This is why I suggest an expectation of early-mid October.

Yup, I know it all too well, trust me...14 weeks and counting for my wheels.

I'm just tired of seeing dates that never mean a damn thing...

/end rant :)

:icon18: Well said. I am in your shoes as we speak. It is unfortunate that their are variables outside of our control that can ultimately determine the lead time for our products. In the end, the only thing that anyone can do really is set what they believe to be the proper expectation and if they are experienced enough, it will follow through :tiphat:.

Good luck with your wheels and hopefully they will be in your hands soon enough. :driving:

Thanks Hunter, and I agree about the outside variables. It's damn hard running a business when so many things are out of your control.

dainedazz 09-15-2009 09:30 PM

i forgot to call Bomex today lol. long day

zulus370Z 09-16-2009 12:25 PM

So we can we put in orders? I want this lip for my Z!

kenchan 09-16-2009 12:32 PM

if you can do pre-painted ones i might be interested. :)

dainedazz 09-16-2009 01:37 PM

hmm i called BOMEX like 5mins ago they said they sent out their kits to some companies. but i'm gonna wait to see the ACTUAL PICTURES of the REAL FINISHED PRODUCT. i dont wanna order this then have it look nothing like the sketch and be really disappointed.

dainedazz 09-16-2009 01:37 PM

they all come unpainted. we paint them ourselves which is better so we can color match.

kenchan 09-16-2009 02:28 PM

yah, but ive had spoilers and lips purchased prepainted and they were a very good match... i dont want to have to deal with buying a small lip like that and then having to have to find a bodyshop to paint it.

dainedazz 09-16-2009 02:34 PM

^^ true. maybe you can work something out with them when you call to order.

The branew kit looks much better in their photoshop pic rather than the real pics.

dainedazz 09-17-2009 01:29 AM

Sorry for the delay guys! Just updated main post with a new link with pictures and pricing. Also, the lips should be ready to ship early March.

Do you have an pictures of the kit you're referring to from Veilside? Only thing I've heard about is a full front bumper that's been worked on for about a year.

Thanks!
Mike

Never said it was bad, but maybe I should just to piss you off. :stirthepot:

Bster 03-02-2010 07:19 PM

It looks a bit Tech Art-ish... not too bad, but like all things, gotta see the real deal first eh?

Csquared 04-21-2010 05:01 AM

Any updates here?! I checked Bomex's Japan site and got nothing.

370Ztune 04-21-2010 12:00 PM

Last time I checked with Bomex, they should have them in stock already.

Nice look, although for me it's a little too aggressive and not close enough to the ground.

Would look really sweet on a very LOW to the ground z34.

Thanks for the link I needed to see this kit on a real car and not CG rendered!

LateralG'z 07-14-2010 09:24 PM

Sick and seems well priced
