Side Z emblems question?

I was thinking of re-wiring both side emblems to just stay on at all times rather then just when you use turn signal. Has anyone done this? Is it hard?

If you just want the lights on all the time, that shouldn't be very difficult at all - just run power from an "ignition" source to the lights. The hard part would be getting the lights to flash when turning - this would require a relay powered by the turn signal circuit to break the power to the light when flashing. Not all that difficult if you know a little bit about wiring. Since you had to ask, I'd suggest getting someone else to do the job.

Yea not very bright in wiring, I'm sure it's easy but I'm one that stays away from any electrical wiring, cuz I don't wanna take the chance of doing any damage haha . But thanks, just wonder if anyone has done this yet?

heehee Wiring doesn't scare me, but I have nightmares about removing/reinstalling interior panels.

I haven't seen anybody post about this mod, but I haven't seen all the threads. Try searching this site for "side marker", "side turn", "side emblem", &c.

I'm guessing that somebody out there has done this and documented it. The wiring should be similar for any side turn signal. Try using the same terms given above to search on other sites dedicated to makes/models that tend to get modified a lot (or Google).
