Need advice for tail lights
So I tried to tint my tail lights. I did everything right.
Sanded 2k grit, 3 layers of VHT, sanded again with 2k grit till smooth. 4-5 layers of duplicolor clear auto. Sanded with 2k till smooth, then buffed with miguers ultimate polish. I can't get it to come out like glass/new plastic. I just suck at this and I need to send it to a professional as now my lights are basically useless until someone fixes them. Can anyone recommend a good shop for permanent tinting of tail lights, I would pay for shipping both ways of course. My problem with getting it smooth is that I can't keep the polish out of the top layer of clear. It always seems to imbed in the clear coat, leaving a white haziness on the top layer. Preventing the smooth glass look. It has been a very frustrating few weeks as I've tried over and over to make this happen.

Couldn't you have just tinted them? That sucks tho, hopefully they can be salvaged.

I could salvage them myself. With the low grit sanding, I just need to paint thinner then buff out the plastic. I've actually done it on one of them.
The plastic doesn't retain the polish like the clear does. I suspect the issue is rattle can clear coat is just way to soft to properly polish to glass. So I just want a professional to do it.
