What about this one as an alternative? SEIBON VSII Style to be exact.

I had inquired about that very hood that we are all drooling over, but there seemed to be some issues with the designer and the production provider. I didn't get into it too deep, but I was very active in pursuing this item while I worked my initial build. I will make another attempt later on this year (probably the Fall/Winter), when I build my motor and pursue a few minor cosmetic/interior upgrades. Otherwise, it will be the SEIBON unit for me.

Thanks!

I was thinking about that hood too but am a little concerned about the fit. I've seen both good and bad from them. No different from any company that makes this type of stuff though.

The hood on the blue Z would be relatively easy to recreate if you know someone with good metal skills.

It sounds like we are on similar upgrade paths.

That's wassup! I do have 2 distractors though. I need to refresh the Tahoe which shouldn't take much more than a 100k maintenance, an interior job, and a good wetsanding/buffing. The main one is the dang kit that F.I. just blasted all over the net. If I can resist Tony's "voodoo", my car should be finished (for the time being) early next year.
