STILLEN Front Fascia (Question)

Hey all, I am thinking about pulling the trigger on the Stillen front fascia and side skirts, BUT I am wondering if anyone has any reviews on them, I have looked on line (Google and the Search option) but cannot find any reviers but for one and it was not a good one. Thanks for your comments on the review on the sexy looking front fascia.:tiphat:

Anyone ?

Alright, I have seen it on a few cars, on one, SEXXXXXYYYYY!!! On the other, it wasn't painted and needed to be filled in to look flush... I think they use really wobbly plastic... So it looked predented

I know a member HAD big time fitment issues, but you also have to consider it's a 3 piece bumper

I think Stillen is working on Gen2

Ya I know on the fitment issues another member had, I was wondering if they fixed that problem yet,

I think they did, and it comes to prep work, they sell their own design bumper for as much as a knock off!

And during Black Friday they were selling them for HALF! Lol, so for $250-275, what do you expect? Lol

Very true! I was just expecting I little more quality then What I seen in the thread,

I honestly think that was a one off problem

I had the first production bumper from Stillen. It did have a dip in the middle of it. They have since fixed that problem. I now have a newer one and it fits nicely, but it does pull down sometimes on the passenger side where it meets the fender. the factory snaps aren't quite strong enough to hold it in place at high track speeds.

I love my Stillen clip. Fits perfect. Holds up great. Just don't run it without side skirts. The sides add a great flow to the overall car.

I say go for it. I like mine and the fitment seems ok.
Don't be like me and forget to either order the Stillen front mesh kit or some other type of mesh before installation...big uncovered hole not pretty or safe for radiator.

Thanks all,

I sent you a PM.

I ordered one from Stillen early last week and received it Saturday. I fit it on Sunday with no difficulty. All the holes were molded in or pre-drilled, except for the ones under the edge of the hood. It fits fine and looks OEM quality. It is slightly thicker and heavier than the stock one. I just wish the ends were not separate. But my brother-in-law who is a body man says it's no big deal to blend them in. I can't wait to see it painted.

Under the description it lists that there is an "Air Diversion Path Built-In - Directs Airflow To Intake". I've seen the differences dyno results with the bumper cover on and off (Gen 3 intake), is this air diversion path enough to bring the results closer to those with no bumper cover?

Mine wasn't as good. One of the ear pieces, the pieces that are on the sides, didn't match up at all. So that side consistently popped out every time I drive it. It was also so heavy that the under shroud bowed and I got a big hole in it now from rubbing the ground. Did I care? Heck no it still looked awesome! But for the price I paid I wish it would have fit better. It met a deer last year so it's long gone anyway pull the trigger man, I miss that bumper so much. I recomend the metal under shroud from z1 to support the weight though. Also maybe a thin piece of aluminum with notches to help the factory clips grab. Other than that no complaints!

Old post, but the answer is yes. That is what it was designed to do.
