Dr. Colorchip is good stuff. As others have said, looks way better than touch up paint. I have a kit for Radiant Silver (Frontier) and a different kit for BS (Z).

...I think they were referring to the 3M clear bra type thing...like clear vynil. Not those hideous black faux-leather things that cover the front of your car. Why someone would put that on a Z, let alone ANY car, is beyond me though.

I think he may be confused by what you mean by bra vs. a clear bra.

A bra will do what fuct mentions. A clear bra will not. But as I said if it is on the hood or any highly visible place on the car a clear bra will likely bring more attention to the imperfection in the paint. It is always best to put a clear bra on when the car is brand new or after a respray to fix any imperfection. I guess if you still wanted to put a clear bra on the car after doing a touch up it will at least protect the rest of the paint from rock chips...etc.

to be honest, if I did a clear bra, I would rather wrap the whole hood and whole front panels...No lines across the middle and the entire part is protected. If you're gonna do it (and it ain't cheap) might as well go all out, right? lol
