The opening only opens full. Now what someone can do if they want a kit to only open half way is to use some type of catch that only allows the strut to open so far. But I designed this kit to open the hood the maximum it could open to have room to work.

Pricing the price starts to bottom out at 70 but to get there I would have to have close to 25 confirmed orders to get there.

For those that have the original kit and want the upgraded hinge, which is what I am assuming it what you are after I can make that happen as well.

It was my understanding that the mounting stud on the wheel well (that's what I'm calling it) stays the same, but that you revised the mounting bracket on the hood and also shorted the strut a inch. It's been a while, though.

I'm stoked. I'll have this kit plus my nice red silicone hoses installed come show season.

Nice! So the brackets and the new struts are what I'd need, I guess. Why did you go with a shorter strut again?

the shorter strut was just a better fit and you do not have to push the hood back as far to get it on. plus the strut has less pressure so you do not have to worry about it flying up to fast and is easier to pull down.

Sounds great. I'm ready for a new set of struts and hood brackets when you are.

OK so I was able to find a supplier for the parts. My original supplier wanted to much so had to find someone else but I was able to get a better part for around the same price which is good. here are the details It will be about 10 days for me to get these out. I will update the timeline as I get the parts in. it will be first come first serve since I will have limited quanities.

ORDERING INFO
total cost Shipped to:
US Priority USPS 3 days = $90
Change due to shipping costs Canada USPS = $110
Australia USPS = $110

Just to give you a breakdown the parts are 75 for the set. 5 is due to AK for the forum and I estimate 10 for shipping to the us, 30 to canada, and 30 to australia. If you have a group from your area PM me and you can save on the shipping.

I accept paypal to Kellyefields@yahoo.com and please remember to add the 3% paypal fees because these are made at cost of the materials alone so my labor is free and so as you can see if you forget to pay the fees it cost me more than just my time. add your shipping address as well. Dont forget to put your username on paypal so I know who you are.
