Hockey pucks work, but I think that this will out last a hockey puck because it has more material once the puck is channeled out.

Can you post up a pic of the backside of it, and sitting in your jack? I have a craftsman LP jack thats of similar design, and if it looks good, I'll order one right now.

+1 for the hockeypucks. I have 2 taped together to jack it up by the pinch rail. Then gwt a jackstand under the frame.

Yes you could trim it down as it is only polymer. This is the jack that I have. You can also take the cup off this jack & drill the center out of the lifting pad little & it will sit lower on the jack without any sliding trouble.
