@GaleForce

Love the A Pillar pods...my questions are:

1) How easy are the A pods to remove?
2) Are the OEM ones trashed when they are removed?

I've been eyeing up a dual pod for years, so this may make me finally pull the plug...

Thanks, and yours look amazing...

I'm not Gale, but I can answer your question....

1) Super easy. Just pull on them and they pop loose. There is a plastic tab that will be tethering the pillar to the chassis once it is loose, just reach in with needle nose pliers and turn it 90 degrees to release it. (This will make sense when you see it).

2) Nope.

here's a snap i took a few weeks back. u can see where the tab is located. use an interior tool and pull the very top of the finisher towards the center of the car.

then take a long (quite long) nose pliers and twist the plastic tab. it's there so when the airbag deploys the finisher dont it ur face.

twist (inside red box 90 degrees).

Cubby gauge mount received! Looks awesome!!!

I'll try and get the gauges stuffed in and shoot some pictures this week. I'm super busy this week but I'll try and get a quick shot of the mount.

THANKS GALEFORCE!

Nice!

I recommend pushing the gauges forward so they butt up against the back side of the silver trim rings and add a dab of silicone or hot glue on the back side to secure the gauge.

Looking good!

Good idea, will give it a shot. the fit is so good that a small dab of silicone would hold it very well.

Finally got caught up and had time to program and install my AEM gauges into the cubby mount. Looks awesome. I'll be installing them on the 10th along with a Z1 oil cooler kit. Then comes the Stillen SC with a air to air cooler mod.

Cool!

Something I noticed, the cubby mount is upside down. The curve is nearest the radio.
